About the Story
Inspired by my testimony, this fictional young adult series follows a brave and gifted girl who’s been fighting invisible battles most people can’t see. When she was young, something dark was spoken over her life. And ever since then, fear, lies, and confusion have followed her, always trying to pull her away from the person God created her to be. As she grows up, she trusts someone who seems kind in the beginning, but little by little, he starts to hurt her heart and dim her light.Just when it feels like all hope is lost, God begins to stir something new inside her. She starts to remember who she really is, and she begins to reclaim the power of her voice. Her journey becomes one of healing, courage, and learning to follow God no matter what. But even when she steps out to help others, she’s met with rejection and heartbreak. That’s when she realizes something big: following God can mean leaving behind what’s familiar and stepping into a brave new adventure with Him.This is a story of spiritual battles, quiet strength, and the unstoppable love of God.

Hi Friends, I'm Jeanie.I am a writer, a dreamer, and someone learning to follow God one step at a time.This series came from a place I never thought I’d walk through, but that God has used to reveal His truth and power. It came from the ashes of spiritual warfare and a long, painful road back to Him.After graduating from Stanford, I found myself working as a designer at a tech startup, but deep down I knew I wasn’t walking in my true purpose. What I really wanted was to write. I dreamed of writing books that would inspire others and touch hearts in a way only stories can. And I remember praying and asking God to help me do that someday.The past ten years have been anything but easy. There have been twists I didn’t see coming, choices that didn’t always make sense, and seasons I wouldn’t have chosen. But through it all, God has been faithful. He’s been shaping me, refining me, and slowly answering that prayer in ways I never imagined.This series is a piece of that journey. It was born from some of my darkest moments...but also from the beauty God kept weaving through them.
